What sets ensemble vim apart from other new music ensembles is our love for taking the traditional concert experience and flipping it on its head, performing in unconventional venues and collaborating with artists of other disciplines in performance.

In 2020, ensemble vim collaborated with Atlanta sculptor, Hanna Allen, to create a “virtual field trip” combining a recorded program of music by Kevin Day, Jonathan Bailey Holland, Alvin Singleton, and Sakari Dixon Vanderveer with the creation of a visual art piece. This project was one of ensemble vim’s digital offerings during the quarantine; a way to connect with our audience and provide access to new music and art during the pandemic.
